The goal is to make 256ART the generative art platform that focuses on upcoming generative artists and their story. The platform where you can start building out a reputation as an artist.

As the platforms focus is on the artist themselves, there will not only be a “projects” page but also an “artists” page, where all artists are showcased and there is a way to directly view an artist profile going more in depth on the story of the artist. An artist profile will include an interview with the artist + a written version of their story, understanding his / hers why of creating art. Of course you are also able to see and collect artworks an artist has created.

Accepted artists commit to creating 3 series on the 256ART platform (mint price & size is the artists choice with a minimum of 0.05 ETH and 256 pieces). For each series there will be an interview / AMA recorded with the artist going more in depth into the story behind the artwork and the 256ART team and collectors will look to create awareness around the series. To not limit artists and lower complexity for artists, creating on top of 256ART genesis series will be optional (genesis holders will receive other benefits as well, see below).
